Auburn rebounds from Kentwood loss with 74-65 win against Kentlake; Auburn Riverside falls to Mount Rainier 68-62 | BOYS BASKETBALL

Two nights after losing 40-37 to No.10 Kentwood, the No.2 ranked Auburn Trojans rebounded with a 74-65 win against Kentlake in South Puget Sound League North 4A action.

The Trojans (3-1 league, 3-1 overall) were led by senior Kevin Henderson’s game-high 22 points, with Iszia Johnson adding 19 points and Daniel Wunder chipping in with 12 points. The Falcons (0-2, 1-2) were led by Daniel Landram’s 21 points.

Auburn will play at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Jefferson (0-3, 2-3).

ALSO: Cameron Grad’s 24 points weren’t enough to lift the Ravens (0-3, 0-4) past the Rams on Thursday, with Riverside falling to Mount Rainier 68-62. Cole Luckett added 18 points for the Ravens. Mount Rainier’s Adrian Davis had a game-high 28 points. The Ravens will look for win number one at 7:30 tomorrow when they host Kent-Meridian (1-1, 1-3).
