The Auburn School District offers free lunches to children ages 1-18 from June 25-Aug. 24, Monday-Friday.

It marks the eighth consecutive year for the program. More than 80,000 meals were served last summer.

The program also is available to youth-related groups such as sports teams, daycares and youth camps.

The meals are free and no registration is required.

A variety of hot and cold lunches will be offered daily and include entrée, cold milk and fresh fruits and vegetables.

Sites are located throughout Auburn, Algona and Pacific. All children are invited to participate at any site. The summer food program also delivers lunches to apartment complexes throughout the city.
