Auburn to hold KidsDay on June 25

Auburn's KidsDay, a day filled with games and activities for families and children, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 25 at Les Gove Park, 1005 12th St. SE.

Auburn’s KidsDay, a day filled with games and activities for families and children, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 25 at Les Gove Park, 1005 12th St. SE.

It is free to the public.

The event is specifically is designed for youth in the Auburn and area community. The event features an entertainment stage, inflatable rides, mini golf, kids’ crafts, face painting, food vendors, more than 50 activity/information vendors and more.

In addition, city officials hope to dedicate the new Barrier-Free Playground and sensory garden, an innovative 32,000-square-foot area placed inside the heart of the park. The $300,000 community project is in the final stages of development.

The event is being presented by the City of Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation Department, Radio Disney AM 1250, Fred Meyer and Wizards of the Coast.
