The 2009 Local Street Pavement Preservation Project is scheduled to begin paving activities from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. today on 22nd Street Northeast from I Street Northeast to O Place Northeast, weather depending.

Through traffic in all directions will be maintained but the construction work will require reducing traffic to one lane with alternating one-way traffic. Traffic delays should be anticipated.

The project will perform pavement patching on the street to repair damaged pavement and then resurface the entire street. The paving is expected to be complete on Wednesday though weather delays are possible.
