Auburn Valley Humane Society (AVHS) and the Kiwanis Club of the Valley present Dogs vs. Cats, a trivia challenge fundraiser, on Nov. 16.

The event runs 5:45 to 8 p.m. in the Rainier Room, on the second floor of the Truitt Building, above Oddfellas, 102 W. Main St., Auburn.

Teams of 6-8 people will compete in answering trivia questions in diverse categories.

Cost is $40 per person and includes dinner and dessert. Cash bar also will be available.

Contestants are encouraged to sport their favorite school colors. For bonus points throughout the challenge, there will be college fight song trivia.
