Please join the Pierce County Children’s Advocacy Center and Seattle Children’s Protection Program and Never Shake Foundation, and other partnering agencies for a Child Abuse Awareness and Candlelight Vigil today.

The open house is being held in the Safe and Sound Building, 1112 S. 5th St., Tacoma, with fun activities for the family from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Pinwheels for prevention will be available at the open house, along with face painting, coloring, a fishing game and a chance for kids to see firetrucks and police cars.

The public also can meet local fire, police and child abuse prevention workers and families.

A vigil immediately follows in front of the Plaza Fountain (by Baker Center) at 7:30.
