CISA’s Back to School Supply Drive begins Friday

The annual Communities In Schools of Auburn Back to School Supply Drive begins Friday and continues until Aug. 22.

The annual Communities In Schools of Auburn Back to School Supply Drive begins Friday and continues until Aug. 22.

Donations may be dropped off at 11 locations throughout Auburn.

Arlene Pierini, CISA executive director, said the organization is hoping to help more than 1,000 students in need throughout the Auburn School District.

“The need is vast and includes all grade levels,” Pierini said. “Any and all traditional back to school supplies such as backpacks, colored markers and binders are appreciated.”

Donations may be taken to the following Auburn locations: Orion Industries; City Hall; Heritage Bank; Farmers Insurance Main Street; Price-Helton Funeral Home; KeyBank; Wesley Homes; Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce; Edward Jones – Greg Dobbs; Auburn School District Fugate Administration Building and Administrative Annex.
