With temperatures expected to remain in the 20s for the next several day, the City of Auburn will continue to open a warming shelter through Thursday.

The shelter is in the William C. Warren building at Veterans Memorial Park, 405 E St. NE, Auburn.

Shelter hours are:

• Tuesday, Jan. 3 – 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.

• Wednesday, Jan. 4 – 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.

• Thursday, Jan. 5 – 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Donations of blankets and warm clothing are always welcomed and can be donated by contacting the Auburn Food Bank at 253-833-8925.
