‘Clean out your closet’ fundraiser Saturday supports veterans

Clean out your closet – a fundraiser for Final Salute, Inc., in its efforts to provide housing for homeless women veterans and their families – is Saturday, June 15.

The drive is collecting clothes, linens, shoes, small household items and books.

Donations will be accepted from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at VFW Post 1741, VFW Post 1741, 1525 16th St. NE, No. 107, Auburn.

Kristina Pressley, a semifinalist in the Ms. Veteran America competition, is hosting the event.
