Auburn did some spring sprucing up.

Volunteers rolled up their sleeves and went to work last Saturday in the City of Auburn’s annual Clean Sweep project, a community-wide volunteer effort that focused on major cleanup and beautification efforts.

The Clean Sweep project kicked off at City Hall with group registration and a pancake breakfast prepared by Kiwanis Club of Auburn. Volunteers then participated in a ceremonial sweep down the Main Street sidewalks, followed by the collective volunteer projects at various sites throughout Auburn.
