Hilda Meryhew, national defense chair for the Daughters of the American Revolution, Lakota Chapter, recently presented the National Defense Army JROTC bronze medal to Cadet Allison Hand at Auburn Mountainview High School.
Hand was honored for her loyalty, patriotism and military and scholastic achievements in the JROTC program.
