Shooting

Auburn police were dispatched after receiving a report on June 16 at approximately 6:56 p.m. regarding a weapons offense. According to the department’s public information log, a shooting occurred around the 1200 block of 37th Street Southeast. Police marked a bullet casing on the scene as evidence. The log listed no victims in the incident. The Auburn Police Department did not immediately respond to request for comment regarding the incident.

Drive-by

Auburn police were dispatched after receiving a report on June 16 at approximately 11:22 p.m. regarding a weapons offense. According to the log, a drive-by shooting occurred near the 2200 block of Auburn Way North. Police marked a handgun, ammo, shell casing and more as evidence. Police have identified and charged a suspect in the shooting with a felony count of drive-by shooting in the first degree. The Auburn Police Department did not immediately respond to request for comment regarding the incident.

Residential burglary

Auburn police were dispatched on June 12 after receiving a report at approximately 12:40 p.m. regarding a robbery involving firearms. According to the department’s log, a robbery was reported in the 29700 block of 110th Avenue Southeast at a residence. The department’s log lists two victims and four suspects, all men. Additional offenses included residential burglary and kidnapping-abduction, according to the log. A handgun, documents, a safe, and cell phone were stolen in the incident. The log reported damage to a door and interior wall. The Auburn Police Department did not immediately respond to request for comment regarding the incident.
