Getting in touch with nature

It was all part of the library’s 2008 summer reading program.

Overton showed slides of plants and animal that are found in wetlands and watersheds.

There were hands-on

exhibits, including a beaver pelt and beaver skull.

The group also discussed the impact of wetlands

on the environment.

The summer reading program at the library
