For the sixth straight year, the Farmers Insurance Auburn Agency came up big in supporting the See Ya Later Foundation Tournament at the Auburn Golf Course.

The agency, according to agent Brian Berend, obtained a matching community grant from Farmers Insurance and presented the foundation with a $2,000 check at the Aug. 12 tournament.

“We’re always happy to support good people in our community,” Berend said.

The SYL Foundation is a nonprofit organization inspired by a 12 year-old boy who died of cancer. Scott Banke had a zest for life and courage that motivates the mission of the foundation, which is inspiring youth and encouraging families.

The organization helps families fraught by a medical crisis.
