Here we grow again

I have to ask for whomever the responsible party is for keeping up the grass and flower beds at the North Lakeland Hills Monument, across from Riverside High School at the corner of Mill Pond Drive, to step up and get the job done.

I have to ask for whomever the responsible party is for keeping up the grass and flower beds at the North Lakeland Hills Monument, across from Riverside High School at the corner of Mill Pond Drive, to step up and get the job done.

Usually after I threaten to hire a goat, the grass gets mowed within about two weeks, but is only mowed maybe twice from spring to fall.

Come on, whoever is responsible – Lakeland Hills Master Association, the Mill Pond Apartments on 47th or the City of Auburn?

All the other landscaping around the monuments is well maintained. Why is the north one always left out? Is it the red-headed stepchild or what?

There is also now a new mess that has been left unattended for several month now. A large tree that fell during a windstorm crashed through the cement wall and made the wall crumble. The tree has been removed, but the broken wall with rocks and dirt has been left.

Will it ever get repaired? Who is the responsible party? If it is the same people who are supposed to maintain the monument area, I don’t see it getting repaired any time soon.
