Jay Smith, associate director of admission from Linfield College, will visit Auburn and Kent-area high schools on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Smith will meet with students and parents to discuss admission requirements, course offerings and financial aid offered through the college.

Linfield College is an independent, comprehensive undergraduate institution, recognized for its strong teaching faculty, outstanding academic programs and distinctive international emphasis. The college is located one hour south of Portland and offers 40 majors and three undergraduate degrees. Study abroad is combined with curricular and extracurricular programs.

Smith’s schedule is as follows:

• 9:30 a.m.: Kentwood High School, Covington

• 10:25 p.m.: Auburn Mountainview High School

• 11:30 a.m.: Tahoma Senior High School, Covington
