Firefighters from the Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to a report of a one-vehicle accident on northbound Highway 167, south of 277th Street, at 4:59 this morning.

State Patrol reported the vehicle was possibly involved with racing other vehicles when it lost control and left the highway.  Firefighters found one male ejected from the vehicle with life-threatening injuries. The patient was transported to Harborview Medical Center by King County Medic One.

State Patrol is investigation.
