Man steals donations | Auburn Police Blotter

The following information is taken from the Auburn Police Department’s daily blotter between May 23 and May 30, 2022. In total 23 assaults, 20 vehicle thefts and seven burglaries were reported in the Auburn Police Department blotter from May 23 to May 30.

May 23

Firearm possession: A person was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen vehicle on the 700 block of 10th Street Northeast at 12:45 p.m.

Assault: A man was arrested for assault on the 2200 block of Dogwood Street Southeast at 1 a.m.

Trespass: A man was arrested for trespassing at the hospital on North Division Street at 5 a.m.

May 24

Forgery: A man was arrested for non-felony forgery on the 1200 block of Outlet Collection Way Southwest.

DUI: A man was arrested for DUI on the 3400 block of A Street Southeast just before 10 p.m.

Loitering: A man was arrested for “drug loitering” on the 100 block of 1st Street Northeast at 7:30 a.m.

May 25

Drug paraphernalia: A man was arrested on a warrant for drug paraphernalia at 8 p.m. and booked into King County Jail.

Vandalism: Multiple vehicles were broken into on the 00 block of 16th Street Northwest between 9:30 a.m. and 10:20 a.m.

Stolen vehicle: A stolen vehicle and tow dolly was recovered on the 5100 block of Frontage Road at 8:30 a.m.

May 26

Assault: A woman was arrested for domestic violence felony assault on the 200 block of 16th Street Southeast at 11:30 p.m.

Assault: A man was arrested for assault and illegal possession of a firearm on the 500 block of 8th Street Northeast at 1:50 a.m.

Arson: A suspected arson occurred on A Street Northeast at 1:26 a.m.

May 27

Theft: A gun was reported stolen on the 4700 block of Auburn Way North at 10:47 p.m.

Assault: A man was arrested for assault and malicious mischief at Game Farm Park on Stuck River Drive Southeast at 5:50 p.m.

Theft: Credit and debit cards and a cell phone were stolen from a business office and used at a local store at around 2:30 p.m.

May 28

Robbery: An attempted robbery on the 700 block of Outlet Collection Drive Southwest was reported at 5:30 p.m.

Theft: Power tools were stolen from a car parked on the 100 block of 10th Street Northeast.

Theft: A man stole money from two donation bins at a restaurant on Outlet Collection Way Southwest at 3:30 p.m.

May 29

Found property: A rusted pistol was found in some bushes on the 700 block of 37th Street Northeast by a landscaping company.

Theft: A vehicle was stolen on the 1300 block of 14th Street Northeast between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Counterfeit: A man tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill at a local store.

May 30

Burglary: A non-residential burglary occurred on the 2100 block of Auburn Way North between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.

Assault: A man was arrested for burglary, felony assault and felony harassment on the 2800 block of Auburn Way North at 10 a.m.

Hit and run: A hit and run occurred on the 300 block of A Street Northeast at 12:16 a.m.
