Museum to host Military Family Day on Oct. 10

The White River Valley Museum presents Military Family Day on Saturday, Oct. 10, from noon to 4 p.m.

The public is welcome to take in the SERVICE INK: Veterans’ Tattoos exhibit and enjoy kids’ activities, demonstrations and a special historic fashion show.

A family friendly World War II artifact lecture begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by a historic fashion show at 2 p.m. Kids activities and scavenger hunts are from noon to 4 p.m.

Admission is free with ID for all active and former military and their families.

The museum is at 918 H St. SE.
