No one hurt in fully involved motorhome fire in Auburn

Crews from the Valley Regional Fire Authority quickly contained a fire that damaged a motorhome that was near the gas pumps of a 7-Eleven convenience store in south Auburn on Wednesday night.

Crews from the Valley Regional Fire Authority quickly contained a fire that damaged a motorhome that was near the gas pumps of a 7-Eleven convenience store in south Auburn on Wednesday night.

There were no injuries.

The fire displaced one person. The American Red Cross responded and has helped the person secure a safe place to stay and provide food, clothing and other items that were lost in the fire.

Firefighters responded to a reported motorhome fire near 41st Street Southeast and A Street Southeast at 8:20 p.m.

Witnesses reported that the motorhome was within 50 feet of the gas pumps at 7-Eleven.

Initial arriving crews arrived to find a fully involved motorhome close to the store. They immediately contained the fire to the motorhome with minimal damage to the outside of the adjacent structure.

The fire is under investigation.
