Northbound I-5 overnight lane and ramp closures in Federal Way next week

Drivers who use northbound Interstate 5 in Federal Way should prepare for ramp closures, detours and possible delays Monday evening, Nov. 16, through Wednesday morning, Nov. 18.

Drivers who use northbound Interstate 5 in Federal Way should prepare for ramp closures, detours and possible delays Monday evening, Nov. 16, through Wednesday morning, Nov. 18.

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close several lanes and ramps on northbound I-5 between State Route 18 and South 320th Street for bridge grinding work. The work requires a complete closure of both eastbound and westbound SR 18 ramps to northbound I-5 on Tuesday night. A signed detour will be in place.

• Monday, Nov. 16, to the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 17

Up to three left lanes of northbound I-5 from SR 18 to South 320th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Tuesday, Nov. 17, to the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 18

Up to three right lanes of northbound I-5 from SR 18 to South 320th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The eastbound and westbound SR 18 ramps to northbound I-5 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
