The public is invited to attend an open house to discuss the upcoming park planning efforts for the Auburn West Hill Lake property. The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at Evergreen Heights Elementary, 5602 S. 316th St., Auburn.

It is proposed that the West Hill lake property be developed as a nature park. The community has the opportunity to provide input into design elements for a new nature park for the community. The 10-acre site is located west of W Street and east of 320th Street on the West Hill of Auburn.

The purpose of the open house will be to discuss park design; present site planning concepts to interested individuals; solicit input from the community and other park users as to the vision of how the site can be used; and answer general questions about the project.
