The City of Auburn will close parts of Fulmer Park at 5th & K Street Northeast to remove some 24 cottonwood trees from the park’s southern area between Sept. 29 and Oct. 31. The clearing project will require a partial closure of the park and path areas at intermittent times between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Access to the park and path areas will be restricted during work hours.
