Person who allegedly broke into home fatally shot

No one from the home was arrested.

A person who allegedly broke into a house was shot and killed in unincorporated King County.

According to King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Brandyn Hull, just after 7 a.m. Sept. 2, deputies responded to a call of a shooting in the 5600 block of South 362nd Place, Auburn, in unincorporated King County just east of Algona. Hull said that someone called to say that they shot a person who broke into their house.

Hull said that the person who was shot died. She said no arrests were made.

According to Hull, this incident remains an open case, and there was no danger to the public after it occurred.
