Aug. 31 and Aug. 29:

Aug. 31

Thieving offspring: 12:06 p.m., 5700 block of Southeast 296th Place. A female called to report that her son had recently stolen some of her costume jewelry.

Vandalism by tire: 5:57 p.m., 1702 Auburn Way N. A man found that somebody had slashed one of his tires while he was shopping at Top Foods.

Suds-stealing kids: 9:32 p.m., 12400 S.E. 312th St. Two kids stole an undisclosed amount of beer from a Shell Station.

Aug. 30

Theft from motor vehicle: Overnight, 12500 block of Southeast 298th Place. Somebody broke out the passenger side window of a vehicle then filched a Toshiba laptop computer worth an undisclosed amount of money.

Theft from motor vehicle: 6:49 a.m., 4700 block of Mill Pond Drive Southeast. Persons unknown stole some six packages worth an undisclosed amount of money from a FedEx truck.

Burglary: 7:38 a.m., 3500 block of Olympic Street Southeast. An Auburn resident called to report finding several electronic items in his backyard. Investigation soon revealed that said electronic items had originated from a nearby residence involved in an unreported burglary.

Beast problem: 10:07 a.m.,

2100 block of 2nd Street Southeast. A woman reported that two unleashed dogs attacked one of her leashed dogs, her husband and herself on the trail paralleling the Green River.

Strong arm robbery: 10:09 p.m., 600 block of F Street Southeast.

A male of undisclosed age reported being robbed of an undisclosed amount money by an undisclosed number of persons perhaps brandishing a weapon or then again, maybe no weapon at all, police didn’t say.

Vandalism: 10 p.m., 1900 block

of Pike Street Northeast. A man upset that his wife was going to leave home with their kids slashed one

of the tires on her car.

Aug. 29

Assault: 10:35 a.m., 600 block of East Main Street. A man suffered minor injuries to his face after confronting another man who had kicked in his pick up truck door. Words of an increasingly unfriendly nature had passed between the men at a nearby convenience store, leading to said vandalism and fisticuffs.

Street robbery with firearm: 7:44 p.m., 1400 block of 15th Street Northwest. A man told police that he was holding a sign promoting a local auto sale when four unknown males driving a Honda robbed him at gunpoint of undisclosed cash or items.
