Auburn police responded to the following calls for service between Dec. 3

and Nov. 26:

DEC. 3

Theft: Overnight, 1500 block of D Street Northeast. A woman reported that her co-worker swiped her bag containing $2,500 in cash and her prescriptions. Police could not find the thief.

Burglary: 8:31 a.m.,

4424 Auburn Way N. Somebody burglarized a storage unit at the Auburn Way Self Storage between Nov. 26 and Dec. 3. Just what the burglars burgled police didn’t say.

Theft from vehicle:

Overnight, 1500 Perimeter Road SW. Somebody broke into a tool trailer at a construction site and swiped approximately $2,570 of tools.

Burglary: Noon, 1801

R St. NE. An unknown burglar entered an individual unit at the Public Storage on R St SE by cutting the lock that secured the door. Once inside of the unit, the burglar stole thousands of dollars worth of personal tools.

DEC. 2

Assault: 3:45 p.m.,

2900 block of 14th Street Southeast. A man assaulted his girlfriend. Police didn’t say if they arrested the man or if he hurt the woman.

Vandalism: 3:02 p.m., 12800 block of Southeast 301st Street. A female person, age not given, told police that somebody had damaged her vehicle’s rear spoiler. Police did not offer an estimate of the damage.

Obstructing justice:

5:42 p.m., 28800 block

of 132nd Avenue Southeast. A two-car collision resulted in three criminal arrests when two adults lied about who had been driving. Police charged one man with making a false statement and driving with a suspended license, his gal pal with making a false statement and a second driver with having no license. Police released all the wrongdoers at the scene pending further investigation, then forwarded the case to the prosecutor’s office. No one was injured.

Vandalism: 7:42 p.m., 5400 block of South 296th Court. Police

reported some act of vandalism to some type of vehicle belonging to someone resulting in some amount of unspecified monetary loss.

DEC. 1

Burglary: Overnight, 5141 Auburn Way N. Unknown persons burglarized a business at the corner of South 277th and Auburn Way North. The burglar or burglars shielded the window on the north side of the business using materials on site, shattered a window with a screwdriver and stole power and hand tools. Police did not disclose a value for the stolen items.

Weapons offense: 8 a.m., 620 37th St. SE. Police arrested a Mt. Baker Middle School student for having knife on campus.

Theft of bike: 3:30 a.m., 500 block of 37th Street Southeast. In the colorful description offered by police, “bike stolen.”

NOV. 26

ID theft: Overnight, 500 block of M Street Southeast. An Auburn woman reported that somebody had used her debit card information to make unauthorized charges. Police did not disclose the amount.
