Auburn police responded

to the following calls for service between April 6 and April 3:

April 6

Harassment: 9 a.m.,

11000 block of Southeast 232nd Place. A woman reported that her daughter’s ex beau was harassing her, calling her up and using obscene and lascivious language.

Shoplifting: 1:40 p.m.,

1402 Supermall Way S.W. Police arrested what they will only describe as “a female” for theft as she stole food from a Chevron station. This child, or teenager, or full-grown woman also was charged with trespassing.

Assault: 2:15 a.m., 2400 block of Auburn Way North. Police arrested a man for assaulting his ex-fiancé while she was seated in the parking lot of a local tavern.

April 5

Shoplifting: 8 p.m.,

1101 Supermall Way S.W. Somebody stole several shirts from the Tommy Hilfiger store at the Supermall. No value for the purloined shirts was offered up.

Shoplifting: 6 p.m.,

1101 Supermall Way S.W.

Several cell phones were stolen from a kiosk at the Supermall. No value for the pilfered phones was given.

Assault: 6:37 p.m., 1500 block of Hemlock Drive Southeast. A verbal argument turned physical and ugly between family members and a man ended up getting himself arrested for domestic violence.

April 4

Forgery: 11:59 p.m., 333 15th St. N.E. Somebody as yet unknown passed a bogus $50 bill at the Iron Horse Casino.

April 3

Prowl: 9 a.m., 500 block

of Auburn Way South. A male person reported that another person snuck away with several battery-operated tools and a laptop from his vehicle while said vehicle was parked at Denny’s.

April 2

Unlawful burning: Overnight, 620 37th St. S.E.

A pile of smouldering charcoal briquettes and a can of lighter fluid were found next to a portable classroom at Mt. Baker Middle School.
