Theft of vehicle: Overnight, 4305 Auburn Way N. Persons unknown cut the chain link fence to King Salmon Marine and stole various tools, then swiped a truck, trailer, boat and boat motor. Police did not disclose a value.

Theft: 8:30 p.m.,

1620 Perimeter Road SW. Somebody stole a wallet containing military ID,

including access cards from an unlocked locker

at the YMCA.

Harassment: 11:32 a.m., 100 block of 10th Street Northeast. Two persons, gender and ages not given, called police to report that an acquaintance, gender also not given, had threatened to kill one of them.

Trespassing: 12:50 p.m., 400 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a transient for trespassing, obstructing a police officer, and resisting arrest after he ran from an officer during a stop for trespassing on the BNSF tracks.

Strong arm robbery:

1:09 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Police arrested a female – age not given – at Marshall’s at the Supermall for shoplifting something. Her unknown female accomplice got away after assaulting the store’s loss prevention officer.

Theft from car:

12:29 p.m., 1000 block

of C Street Northwest. Persons unknown broke into other persons’ vehicles and stole undefined property worth an undisclosed amount.

Recovered stolen property: 2:41 p.m., 2341 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a man after he pawned a stolen iPod and PlayStation 2 at Pawn Exchange. Somebody had stolen the items four days earlier from another Pawn Exchange in Federal Way.

Theft from car: 3:35 p.m., 3600 block of I Street Northeast. Somebody tried to steal some hub caps off a vehicle of undisclosed make.

Burglary: 4 p.m., 1300 block of 30th Street Southeast. Somebody burglarized a man’s apartment while he was away at work. The bad guy or guys stole $120 in cash from the residence after slipping in through an unlocked window.

Shoplifting: 7:39 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Police arrested a man and woman for shoplifting a coat from Burlington Coat Factory at the Supermall. Police did not disclose a value for the coat.

Traffic offense: 7:52 p.m., 200 block of A Street Southeast. Police arrested a male – young, old, who knows? – after officers spotted him driving recklessly mere minutes after an officer had warned him not to drive because his license was suspended.

Hit and run: 10:26 p.m., 4500 block of 10:26 p.m. Police arrested a male person, age not given, for driving under the influence, hit-and -run, and driving with a suspended license. The male had been traveling north on Auburn Way when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a power line pole. The scofflaw fled the scene on foot, but police caught up with him.
