Jan. 11

Purse theft: 9:16 a.m., 2100 block of Auburn Way S. In the description offered by police, “stolen wallet.” No other details, such as how much money was involved, were provided.

Controlled substance: 1:02 p.m., 800 4th St. NE. School authorities suspended an Auburn High School student and police will charge him or her with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Theft: 1:28 p.m., 900 block of L Street Southeast. Somebody reported that a male, no general age given, may have stolen about $300 from his girlfriend’s grandmother.

Theft: 12:39 p.m., 900 block of 28th Street Northeast. Persons unknown stole undisclosed property from an unlocked garage resulting in some monetary damages.

Theft: 6 p.m., 31900 block of 124th Avenue Southeast. Somebody, no gender given, told police that somebody stole an iTouch from him or her. Police did not disclose a value.

Theft from motor vehicle: 5:13 p.m., 2731 Academy Drive SE. Somebody stole the wheels and tires off a utility trailer parked at the Adventist Academy. Police did not disclose a value.

Theft from motor vehicle: 7 a.m., 12100 block of Southeast 312th Street. A man reported that an unknown person stole various items out of his vehicle, then took three of his four wheels.

Theft from motor vehicle: 12:15 p.m., 31900 53rd Place S. A man reported that someone broke the driver-side window to his vehicle and stole all of his work tools. Police did not disclose a value.

Theft: 4:11 p.m., 2000 block of F Street Southeast. Somebody stole an empty rabbit cage. Police did not disclose a value for said cage.

Purloined pants: 6:29 p.m., 800 4th St. NE. Some thieving person stole somebody’s pants while the person was changing clothes in a locker room at Auburn High School. Police did not disclose a value.

Shoplifting: 8:22 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Somebody stole a pair of jeans from the Nordstrom Rack, ran, was chased, dropped the jeans, fled into the night and got away.

Vandalism: 8:30 p.m., 2800 block of D Place Southeast. Two adult sisters got into a fracas, one of them getting so worked up she broke a coffee table, but the other declined to press charges.

Robbery: 10:36 p.m., 2800 block of Auburn Way N. Police arrested a man for theft after he stole $90 from a woman’s hand.
