Police blotter | Nov. 20

Auburn police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Nov. 11 and Nov. 15:

Nov. 11

Burglary: Overnight, 739 W. Main St. Somebody broke into the New Asia Chinese Restaurant and stole a 32-inch television. Police did not disclose the method of entry or a value for the stolen set.

Theft from building: 2:40 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Somebody spied an unknown boy or man stealing jeans at Nordstrom’s Rack. Police did not disclose a value for the purloined dungarees.

Burglary: 10:23 p.m., 1400 block of 15th Street Northwest. Somebody pried his or her way into an unnamed commercial building but took nothing.

Nov. 12

Burglary: 3:43 a.m., 1100 block of East Main St. A newspaper delivery driver called to report that a window had been shattered at the Main Street Market. Police did not disclose the value.

Burglary: Overnight, 232 C. St. NW. A woman reported that someone, or several someones, broke into Kim’s Packaging Supply’s warehouse overnight. While the bad guy or guys didn’t take anything, they did break a padlock to get in.

Shoplifting: 3:45 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Some guy, and nobody knows who, stole shoes from Nordstrom’s Rack. Police did not disclose a value for the shoes.

Vandalism: 5:15 p.m., 30700 block of 132nd Ave. SE. A man reported that somebody shattered his rear passenger window with a rock while he was driving.

Shoplifting: 5 p.m., 1101

Supermall Way SW. Police arrested three girls for shoplifting from the Burlington Coat Factory.

Theft: 11 a.m., 1500 block of D Street Northeast. The Days Inn reported a theft of some type and a suspect to correspond with said theft.

Nov. 15

Theft from motor vehicle: 7:09 a.m., 500 block of 3rd St. SW. Somebody stole stereo equipment from a car parked in front of its owner’s house. Police did not disclose a value.

Trespassing: 2:39 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Somebody of undisclosed gender was told to get out of Fred Meyer and stay out for shoplifting and for being under the influence of some mood-and-mind-altering substance.

Vandalism: 4:59 p.m., 900 block

of M Street Southeast. Police arrested a man or boy for malicious mischief after he took the accumulated frustrations of an argument with his girlfriend out on a window.
