Police seek suspect in Bigfoot Java armed robbery

The suspect held the baristas at gunpoint before stealing the tip jar.

Auburn police are searching for a suspect who held baristas at gunpoint at a Bigfoot Java before discharging their firearm.

The Auburn Police Department (APD) is seeking tips regarding a suspect who held two baristas at gunpoint before stealing their tip jar at a Bigfoot Java, 802 14th St. NE, at about 5:30 p.m. Aug. 8. According to APD, before fleeing, the suspect fired a single shot into the roof, but no one was injured.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, and no vehicle was seen, according to APD.
