Registration for Auburn’s Petpalooza Dog Trot 3K/5K Fun Run is under way.

Early registration is $18 and ends April 24. Late registration is $23 and runs April 25 to May 13. On-site registrations will be $25. A T-shirt is included with all early registrations and will be available on a limited basis for late and on-site registrants.

The Dog Trot begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 16 at Game Farm Park, 3030 R. St. SE.

Dog Trot, a family-oriented event, is part of Petpalooza, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants can follow a 3K or 5K route. The course is flat, easy and enjoyable for all ages. Water will be available on the course for dogs and runners.

Back again this year, Auburn’s Dog Trot will offer “chip” timing, allowing participants the most accurate finish time. Visit www.auburnwa.gov/petpalooza for a registration form (and a convenient on-line registration option), rules and complete event information or call 253-931-3043.

The eighth annual Petpalooza festival features live and animal entertainment; the Unleashed Pet Contest; a free agility area; pony rides; face painting; a food court; and more than 150 vendors.
