Proceeds were raised from the sale of the Reporter’s Auburn Little League All-Stars’ World Series commemorative section last summer.
The All-Stars, the Northwest champions, won three of five games at Williamsport, Pa.
Facility is a partnership with the City of Auburn and other public entities.
The fatal collision occurred in the area of I Street Northeast in north Auburn.
