Firefighters from the Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to a report of a fire in a residential structure 513 Milwaukee Boulevard South in Pacific on Friday.

Reports of smoke and flames from the kitchen with the residents exiting the structure. The first fire unit on scene confirmed a working residential fire. The fire was quickly brought under control and fire damage was limited the room or origin.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
