Dr. Brian Crain and his wife, Joyce, were honored at a major donor presentation at the Rotary Club of Auburn’s weekly luncheon Wednesday at Copper Falls Restaurant.

District Gov. John Mathews presented each of them a Rotary diamond pin in recognition of their support to the Rotary Foundation of $10,000 or more. They also received a crystal award, etched with doves, symbolizing peace and the Rotary’s mission to increase international understanding.

Dr. Crain reflected on his 25 years in Rotary and noted the Auburn club’s commitment to the eradication of polio in the world.

“When you alleviate pain, you contribute toward world peace,” he said.
