Scouting for food

Cub Scout Packs 331, 340, 341 and 344 were busy during Easter weekend, joining community leaders and parents to collect more than 200 pounds of donations for the Auburn Food Bank.

The boys were paired with adults to cover significant ground.

Packs in the Chief Seattle Council collect canned goods for food banks throughout King County area each spring.

In addition, the Foothills District’s recent Scout Adult recognition night honored Mayor Pete Lewis for his help with scouts in Auburn, and Pete Wilkins, who is retiring from scouting.
