Sen. Joe Fain, R-Auburn, the Senate majority floor leader representing the 47th Legislative District, is the guest speaker at the Soroptimist International of Auburn’s weekly meeting Sept. 9.

The gathering is from noon to 1 p.m. in the Rainier Room (second floor) of the Truitt Building, 102 W. Main St.

Fain will provide highlights of the recent Legislative session and what he anticipates for the 2016 session.

Soroptomist International of Auburn is a group of downtown businesswomen. Guests are welcome but must register in advance by emailing info@siaauburn.org.

Lunch is $15.
