A fight between men from two vehicles at an Auburn intersection early Sunday morning left one man seriously hurt with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and the other arrested, Auburn Police reported.
Police responded to a physical altercation between the men in the intersection of 15th Street Southeast and B Street Southeast around 1:30 a.m.
During the altercation, one of the involved parties pulled out a handgun and shot the other in the stomach, according to Auburn Police Commander Mike Hirman.
The shooting victim, a Hispanic man in his late teens to early 20s, was transported to Harborview Medical Center, where he was last listed in serious condition. The shooting suspect, a Hispanic man in his early 20s, was arrested shortly after the incident.
The driver of the vehicle transporting the shooting suspect from the scene also was arrested, police said.
Auburn Police are investigating.
