Felony harassment

Auburn police arrested a man for felony harassment on March 27 after dispatching to a report of a person threatened with a gun. Police received report of the threats at approximately 7:48 p.m. and responded to the incident near the 5900 block of Terrace View Lane Southeast. According to the Auburn Police Department, a man threatened a woman with a firearm at an apartment complex. Police declared a 9mm handgun as evidence in relation to the incident, according to the news release. Investigation into the harassment incident continues.

Assault involving firearms

Auburn police arrested a man on a felony charge of assault in the second degree for his involvement in an assault involving firearms. Police were dispatched to the 900 block of 2nd Street Southeast after receiving a report of an aggravated assault on March 29 at approximately 3:38 p.m. The department provided no information regarding any injuries in relation to the incident in a request for more information. The department’s news release lists one victim. Police declared multiple firearms, ammunition and bullets as evidence in the case. Police forwarded the case to King County prosecutors.

Student makes gun threat

Auburn police received report on March 29 at approximately 5:04 p.m. of an Olympic Middle School student threatening to go to school with a gun. According to the department, Auburn police contacted and talked with the student. They received the report from a third party with no mention regarding a time frame for the threat. Police listed the incident as a felony harassment case on the department’s daily public information log and have closed the case. The department provided no information regarding any potential charges.

Auburn High School assault

Auburn police arrested a juvenile at Auburn High School on March 30 for an aggravated assault incident. Police received report regarding the assault at approximately 1:58 p.m. The department’s daily public information log lists one victim in the incident. The department declined to provide further details regarding the incident. Investigation into the case continues.

Illegal marijuana grow

Auburn police documented an illegal marijuana grow on March 30 in the 5000 block of Bridget Avenue Southeast.

Residential burglary

Auburn police arrested a man for residential burglary after receiving report of a burglary in the 10900 block of Southeast 293rd Street at 6:45 p.m. March 30. Police arrested the man the next day on March 31 at approximately 3:11 a.m. Police have forwarded the case to Auburn city prosecutors.

Robbery with a firearm

Auburn police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Auburn Way North on March 30 after receiving report of a robbery involving a firearm at a business. Police received a report of the incident at approximately 11:56 p.m. The reporting party informed the department that a man and woman used a firearm to make threats in the business prior to leaving the scene in a vehicle. Police have no description regarding the vehicle, according to the department. Investigation into the incident continues.

Weapons offense

Police investigated a weapons offense incident on March 31 in the 29600 block of Green River Road Southeast. Auburn police were dispatched to a call regarding firearm discharges at around 4 a.m., according to the department. Officers discovered bullet casings upon arrival, documenting 13 bullet casings as evidence. Detectives reviewing the case currently have no suspect leads, with no apparent injuries in relation to the case either.
