There’s tap dancing, and then there’s Rhythmic Circus.

Feet Don’t Fail Me Now! is spiced up with a variety of musical flavors, from Minneapolis funk to salsa, and accompanied by a seven-piece band, vocalists, and even a beat-boxer. The company’s reputation goes well beyond the sum of the dancers’ talents; pieces are themed and include costume changes and musical interludes that highlight the funky stylings of the band. The combined and highly integrated talents of the dancers and musicians have built a reputation for leaving audiences on their feet cheering for more.

Since their inception in 2007, Rhythmic Circus has quickly risen to become the busiest touring tap company in the nation. In their first National tour they visited more than 40 cities in over 20 states performing over 70 shows which included performances in the U.S. Virgin Islands. This season Rhythmic Circus is slated to expand their tour to Europe with a stop for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.

The City of Auburn BRAVO Performing Arts Series includes music, dance, comedy, film and theater performances for all ages throughout the year. For a full listing of upcoming shows and to order tickets, please visit www.auburnwa.gov/arts.
