Tracy is the choice for district judge

I am endorsing David Tracy for King County District Court South Judge Position 6 and here is why:

Elected and appointed Judges over the years have asked David Tracy to serve as a “Pro Tem” judge when those judges have been away from their courts. In their absence, these judges had confidence in David Tracy’s ability to preside over a wide variety of hearings and trials. It was in his “Pro Tem” capacity that I met and practiced before David Tracy during my tenure as Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Auburn. His knowledge of the law and ability to apply the appropriate law to the facts of each case impressed me. Because of that impression, I was always confident that David Tracy would conduct all the hearing in which I participated utilizing the fundamental principles of justice.

David Tracy has been a volunteer with the South King County Legal Clinic for over 20 years. Attorneys who volunteer with this clinic provide free legal advice to all citizens of the south King County community.

It is my understanding that several present and retired judges from the King County District Court system have endorsed David Tracy, including current King County District Court Judge Darrell Phillipson of the South Division. These judicial endorsements reinforce why I am endorsing David Tracy for King County District Court South Judge position 6. David Tracy’s background assures that he has the courtroom experience to step right in and “hit the ground running” when elected to the King County District Court, South Division.
