Vaccine theft, hit and run | Auburn police blotter

The following reports are taken from the Auburn Police Department’s daily blotter from Dec. 20 through Dec. 29.

Dec. 20

Trifecta: A man was arrested for harassment, shoplifting and trespassing on the 100 block of Auburn Way South at 9:45 a.m.

Attempted theft: At around 12:30 p.m. two men attempted to steal a 2005 Ford F250 from the Muckleshoot Casino, the owner caught the men and chased them off. The would-be thieves left a stolen U-Haul at the scene when they fled.

Burglary: A man was arrested for burglary on the 1300 block of Auburn Way South at 12:16 a.m.

Dec. 21

Voyeurism: A man was arrested for voyeurism on the 2400 block of Auburn Way South at 6:52 p.m.

Assault: An employee allegedly attempted to assault their manager after being fired at 12:30 p.m.

Robbery: A strong-arm robbery was committed at Fred Meyer on Auburn Way North at 10:20 a.m.

Dec. 22

Shots fired: Someone shot at a house on the 400 block of 4th Street Northeast at 7:30 a.m.

Assault: A man assaulted his coworker on 42nd Street Northwest at 10:45 a.m.

Theft: Two packages containing vaccine supplies were stolen from Walgreens on Auburn Way South at 11 a.m.

Dec. 23

Burglary: A burglary and vehicle theft occurred on the 1400 block of Lake Tapps Drive Southeast between 8 p.m. and 3 a.m.

Harassment: A man was arrested for felony harassment and domestic violence assault on the 1300 block of 43rd Street Northeast at 8:25 p.m.

Shoplift: A shoplift of scratch off tickets at 2202 Auburn Way North was reported at 3:15 p.m.

Dec. 24

Robbery: Someone attempted to rob a check cashing store on Auburn Way North at 12:57 p.m.

Assault: A man was arrested for domestic violence assault on the 2000 block of C Street Southeast at 3 a.m.

Vandalism: A woman was arrested for vandalism on the 1600 block of 8th Street Northeast at 8:42 p.m.

Dec. 25

DUI: A man was arrested for DUI on Southeast 321st Place at 10:26 p.m.

Assault: A domestic violence assault was investigated on 8th Street Northeast at 5 p.m.

Assault: A man was arrested for domestic violence assault on the 5500 block of 37th Street Southeast at 5:30 a.m.

Dec. 26

Burglary: A residential burglary was reported on the 1500 block of 8th Street Northeast at 7:45 a.m.

Motorcycle theft: A motorcycle was reported stolen in Auburn then recovered in Puyallup.

Assault: An assault was reported on the 700 block of 15th Street Northeast at 2:37 p.m.

Dec. 27

Burglary: A car dealership was burglarized on Auburn Way North at 6 a.m.

Vehicle theft: While a woman was delivering food she left her car on and a man stole her car on M Street Southeast at 1:09 p.m.

Harassment: A man was reportedly threatened with a firearm on Southeast 312th Street at 11:20 p.m.

Dec. 28

Catalytic converter: A catalytic converter was stolen from a local business vehicle on C Street Northwest at 6:15 a.m.

Burglary: A vehicle trailer was broken into and burglarized while parked on the 3400 block of C Street Northeast at 12 p.m.

Assault: An assault was reported on the 3700 block of Auburn Way North at 4:22 p.m.

Dec. 29

Shoplifting: A man was arrested for shoplifting from Lowes at 11:20 a.m.

Burglary: Four vehicles were reported stolen during a burglary on the 1200 block of Auburn Way North at 1:14 p.m.

Hit and run: A man was arrested for hit and run on the 2400 block of Auburn Way South at 10:20 p.m.

All told there were 18 assaults, 17 burglaries and 28 vehicle thefts recorded in the Auburn Police Department daily blotter from Dec. 20 through Dec. 29.
