Auburn’s Clean Sweep – a community-wide volunteer beautification effort – returns Saturday.

Volunteer groups will work on light cleanup and maintenance, landscaping, weeding and planting in and around downtown and at various park sites and a handful of other spots, as needed.

The City will provide breakfast, instruction sheets for projects at each location, materials as needed for each project, and garbage bags.

The agenda:

• 7:30 a.m. – Check in at City Hall, 25 W. Main St. Breakfast prepared by the Kiwanis Club of Auburn

• 8:15 a.m. – Welcome and project instructions

• 8:30 a.m. – Ceremonial Sweep along Main Street sidewalks

• 8:45 a.m. – Teams go to project locations
