Fire: 2:15 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters zipping to a report of a fire in a homeless camp near the Stuck River found a tent, its contents and nearby trees ablaze, whereupon they extinguished the conflagration and released the still-smoking scene to investigators and police.

April 14

Aid call: 12:48 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters wrapped up their treatment of a woman in the throes of a seizure, and a private ambulance transported her to a local hospital.

Accident: 12 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Having come across a two-vehicle collision on the border of East Pierce Fire District and Auburn, firefighters treated an elderly man before East Pierce Medic 11 hustled him off to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Accident: 7:50 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters assessed five patients involved in a two-car accident. A personal vehicle drove a teenage girl to MAMC for treatment of her minor injuries.

Aid call: 6:45 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters calmed an older woman who was suffering from anxiety, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

April 18

Aid call: 2:26 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters treated a woman who had sustained minor injuries in a fall and transported her to MAMC.

April 19

Fire alarm: 12:08 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters were responding to an automatic fire alarm in a home when the call was cancelled because, as things turned out, it was only burned bacon on the stove.
