July 5

Commercial fire: 2:31 a.m., (South Auburn). Having arrived at a brush fire that was licking the exterior siding of a two-story apartment building, firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. Nobody was hurt.

Accident: 12:27 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters and King County Medics treated a motorcycle rider who’d sustained multiple traumatic injuries colliding with an automobile, and Airlift Northwest flew him to Harborview Medical Center.

Fire alarm: 5:48 p.m., (Pacific). Summoned by a keening fire alarm at Rainier Vista Apartments and finding burnt food on a stove, firefighters reset the alarm, and after a brief interval allowed residents to return to their apartments.

July 7

Aid call: 3:57 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters evaluated a woman who had fallen from a ladder, and a private ambulance transported her to Good Samaritan Hospital.

July 8

Aid call: 9:20 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters responded to a woman with severe head pain and high blood pressure, and a private ambulance motored her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Rollover accident: 1:43 p.m., (Algona). Having arrived at the scene of a single-car rollover accident on Highway 167 near Ellingson Road, firefighters found a young woman and and a girl both complaining of minor injuries. For precautionary reasons, firefighters transported the woman and girl to Valley Medical Center.

July 10

Aid call: 9:12 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters treated an older woman who’d been complaining of a headache for two straight days.days, and a private ambulance transported her to Valley Medical Center.
