July 11

Wires down: 1:10 p.m., (Pacific). Having responded to power lines down across a road from a delivery truck, firefighters learned that the truck had been backing into a driveway when it pulled down a television cable line. Firefighters secured the line to the power pole and notified the cable company.

July 12

Aid call: 2:30 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters treated an Auburn senior citizen who had fallen and cut her head, and a private ambulance transported her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

July 13

Brush fire: 6:59 p.m., (Algona). Having responded to a brush fire on the Interurban Trail, firefighters found the fire out when they got there. According to eyewitness accounts, the culprits were two teenage kids shooting off illegal fireworks. There was no property damage.

July 14

Car vs. bicyclist: 7:10 a.m., (Auburn). After running a red light, a car taking a turn through an intersection struck a man on his bicycle. King County Medic One transported the man to Harborview Medical Center with injuries to his head and ribs.

July 15

Aid call: 8 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters helped a male who was complaining of a possible seizure, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.

House fire: 10:03 p.m., (Enumclaw). Valley Com dispatched firefighters as part of a structural task force to a house fire in Enumclaw, where they helped put out the fire. The home sustained heavy damage, but nobody was hurt.

July 17

Motorcycle accident: 5 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and paramedics treated and transported to a hospital a teenage boy who had crashed his motorcycle at nearly 100 mph, sustaining severe road-rash.
