The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 200 calls for service between March 17 and March 23, among them the following:

March 17

Aid call:3:53 p.m., (South Auburn). After firefighters treated an Auburn senior who had fallen and hit his head, a VRFA aid car motored the man in stable condition to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

March 18

Aid call: 3:35 p.m., Pacific). Pacific police asked VRFA firefighters to come help with an overly feisty person. After the person was restrained, a private ambulance drove him to MAMC for more evaluation.

March 19

Aid call: 10:39 a.m., (Lea Hill). After firefighters determined that a woman’s abdominal agonies might have been related to pregnancy, a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

March 20

Aid call: 4:16 p.m., (Auburn). After firefighters treated a man in the throes of stroke-like symptoms, VRFA personnel transported him to a local hospital for further treatment.

March 21

Accident: 8:12 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters responding to a three-car motor vehicle accident evaluated four people, and a private ambulance transported two of them to MAMC.

March 22

Stabbing: 6 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters controlled the bleeding of a man who had been stabbed twice in the thigh during a fight, dressed his wounds and transported him to MAMC for further treatment.

March 23

Aid call: 9:28 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters helped a woman suffering from a decreased level of consciousness, and King County Medics transported her to MAMC for more evaluation.
