Nov. 7

Illegal burning: 12:18 p.m. (south Auburn). Firefighters responding to an unknown fire observed residents burning a pile of wet leaves and garbage in their backyard next to their home. The fire was extinguished, and firefighters informed the citizens on the proper procedures for outdoor burning.

Nov. 8

Aid call: 11:30 a.m. (Algona). Firefighters responded to an elderly male experiencing multiple seizures. The patient was treated and subsequently transported in stable condition to Valley Medical Center.

Branches touching wires: 5:30 p.m. (Lea Hill). Firefighters responding to a report of wires arcing investigated the area in question and found several branches touching wires. The information was referred to Puget Sound Energy for appropriate action.

Nov. 9

Truck fire: 10:10 a.m. (Pacific). Firefighters responding to a truck fire at the 500 block of West Valley Highway South found a fully involved half-ton pickup. The fire was extinguished, investigated and determined to be accidental in nature.

Nov. 10

Aid call: 11 a.m. (Auburn). Firefighters helped a male having difficulty breathing. King County paramedics transported the patient to Auburn Regional Medical Center.

Nov. 11

Car vs. bicycle: 3:42 p.m. (Pacific). Firefighters dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist found a young teen who had been struck by a small truck at medium-to-low speeds, sustaining minor injuries. Firefighters transported the young man along with his father to ARMC for further evaluation.

Nov. 12

Aid call: 11:19 a.m. (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters and King County Medics responded to a report of an unconscious, non-responsive elderly woman. Personnel found the woman to be conscious and responsive to stimuli. However, she exhibited signs of a possible stroke. The patient was transported in stable condition to ARMC.

Nov. 13

Motor vehicle accident: 2:15 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a two-car accident evaluated an adult female and child and transported them to ARMC.
