Nov. 17

Aid call: 1:32 p.m., (Pacific). After firefighters and King County Medics treated a man who was complaining of chest pain, an aid unit motored him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Nov. 18

Trash can fire: 8:05 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters extinguished a trash can fire at Sunset Park.

Nov. 19

Car fire: 7:15 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to the 500 block of 42nd Street Northeast for a car fire found a car with 4-foot-high flames coming from the engine compartment and building 10 feet away. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. A fire investigator also responded to the scene. The driver said the vehicle had been having problems lately. No damage to the building, but the vehicle sustained significant damage.

Nov. 20

Car vs. pedestrian: 7:45 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters with King County Medic One responded to a woman who had been hit by a car going about 30 mph near the Green River Community College Campus. Firefighters transported the woman to MAMC for further treatment.

Nov. 21

Residential fire: 5:30 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responding to the 600 block of Chinook Avenue South in Pacific for a fire in an upstairs bathroom extinguished the bathroom fire, checked for fire extension and rescued one grateful pooch from within the house. Fire investigators determined the fire had been an accident.

Nov. 22

Car fire: 12:21 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to a three-car motor vehicle accident with one vehicle on fire found one fully-involved engine compartment and all occupants out. Firefighters extinguished the fire. Nobody was hurt.

Nov. 23

Aid call: 12:25 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters treated a man who’d been assaulted and transported him to a local hospital.
