Oct. 5

Aid call: 4:28 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responded to a woman complaining of dizziness, treated the patient on scene before being transported her by private ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma for further evaluation.

Oct. 6

Fuel spill: 11:45 p.m. (Algona). Firefighters responding to a report of a substance on the southbound off-ramp to Highway 167 determined that diesel fuel had been spilled along the roadway, causing slippery conditions for drivers. A Department of Transportation truck was called to sand the roadway to absorb the diesel and improve road conditions.

Oct. 7

Vehicle accident: 11:08 a.m. (Lea Hill). Firefighters responded to a vehicle that struck a telephone pole. The teenager lost control of his vehicle because of water on the roadway but was uninjured.

Oct. 8

Aid call: 7:15 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics helped a teenage girl who was experiencing an asthma attack. She was treated and stabilized at the scene, then transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC) for further care.

Oct. 9

Aid call: 5:31 p.m. (south Auburn). Firefighters responded and treated a man who was experiencing dizziness, then transported him to MAMC.

Oct. 10

Aid call: 8:45 a.m. (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters helped a woman who had fainted and suffered facial injuries, including several broken teeth. She was treated and transported to a local hospital by private ambulance.

Oct. 11

Aid call: 11:30 a.m. (south Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics helped a man with decreased level of conciseness and breathing difficulty. He was treated at the scene, then transported to a local hospital by a private ambulance for further evaluation and treatment.
